SEMINAR LEADER
Phil Helle or Dan Marino

The methodologies used for solving business problems are varied and many are fundamentally sound. An issue that many firms have not addressed properly is to provide a standard method for solving problems inside and outside a Company to facilitate efficient use of teams' available time. Collaborative Solution Development is a structured team based problem solving process that all employees and individuals within the Supply Chain can use to solve any type of problem.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Members of the Management Team who will be responsible for incorporating an internal education program to train all employees to solve problems in the same manner, using this structured process.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The Four Basic Steps - The four steps incorporate all of the critical steps that an individual or a Team must follow in a progressive and structured manner to assure that a complete solution is reached and implemented

Complexity of Various Problems - A problem solving process must recognize that problems are vastly different relative to complexity and that a process must include a step that determines the level of complexity and applies the appropriate sequence of elements to reach a conclusion efficiently and effectively

Forming Teams around Problems - Team members must be selected based on type and level of contribution the issue at hand. Attendees will learn how to develop teams that have all the required talents and resources to solve a problem in the minimum amount of time

How Teams Relate to the Formal Organization - Multi-functional teams must learn how to function within a team structure and still maintain a formalposition in the Company. This course will teach attendees how to concurrently work on projects and customary job responsibilities
